He brings decades of experience in Christian higher education and mission-driven nonprofit leadership, including prior service with the CCCU in two senior roles. He also served as Vice President for Professional Development and Research, overseeing leadership development initiatives and research programs, engaging more than 170 member institutions worldwide and securing more than $4.5 million in foundation support for CCCU projects.

Served previously as a Senior Consultant with Design Group International, a firm specializing in process consulting and organizational change leadership.
He has also held senior leadership roles with Stamats, a national higher education consulting firm, as Vice President for Strategy and Planning. He led strategic planning, market studies, and academic program analyses for more than seventy colleges and universities.
Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College at Houghton College (New York), where he led comprehensive academic program review and sustainability initiatives that generated more than $4 million in annual revenue enhancement and cost savings.
